Screen lock and passcodes

The most critical security setting is protecting your Android phone with a password to prevent unauthorized access. Options typically include a 4-6 digit PIN, a custom numeric code, an alphanumeric code, or a pattern. Some Android phones also offer facial recognition or fingerprint identification. You can find these settings in the section: Settings > Lock screen and security.

Some Android devices have additional settings that control the visibility of notifications or the ability to copy content when your phone is locked. You can manage this under: Settings > Lock screen and security.
