App access to device content

When downloading an app, you will be asked to grant access to certain content on your mobile device (e.g., contacts, calendar, photos). On newer versions of Android OS, you can manage these permissions in the section: Settings > Apps > App Permissions. For older versions, use the App Manager. Assess whether the app needs access to your data for its functionality.
